Dental Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator who speaks Spanish to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care plans, coordinating treatment schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and dental staff. This position requires strong clerical skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and familiarity with dental office operations and dental insurances.

Duties

• Develop and manage individualized care plans for patients, ensuring all necessary treatments are scheduled and communicated effectively.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment options, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate patient records and files, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Utilize Dentrix software to manage patient information, appointments, and billing processes efficiently.
• Assist in the clerical duties of the dental office, including filing documents, managing correspondence, and supporting front desk operations as needed.
• Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure that all aspects of patient care are coordinated effectively.
• Apply knowledge of medical coding and terminology to assist with insurance claims processing and billing inquiries.
• Perform 10 key typing tasks accurately to support administrative functions within the clinic.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of care plans and treatment coordination within a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in clerical skills including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Familiarity with Dentrix or similar practice management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of dental coding practices and dental terminology is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff alike.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
