Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator who is fluent in Chinese to join our vibrant dental practice. This vital role combines excellent patient communication with efficient practice management, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients from initial consultation through treatment completion. As a key member of our team, you will coordinate dental treatments, manage patient records, and facilitate smooth clinic operations while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking patients, guiding them through treatment plans and appointment scheduling with enthusiasm and clarity
- Coordinate dental procedures by collaborating with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate treatment delivery
- Manage patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks, maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks including billing, coding, insurance verification, and financial management to optimize practice revenue
- Oversee clinic operations related to medical records, medical terminology documentation, and medical office management practices
- Supervise team members when necessary, providing guidance on office management, human resources policies, and practice management protocols
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and post-treatment care instructions
Experience
- Proven experience in dental office management or medical office experience with a focus on dental clinics or healthcare settings
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience within a clinical environment
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in managing medical records and documentation. We use Oryx system
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing procedures, managed care processes, and HIPAA regulations
- Background in fiscal management including budgeting and financial oversight within a healthcare practice
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, especially Chinese-speaking communities preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
