Deployment Site Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deployment and installation of MV substations, switchgear, RTUs, telecom systems, and RMUs.
• Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality execution.
• Oversee Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of all electrical and communication systems.
• Ensure integration of RTUs and RMUs with SCADA and remote monitoring platforms.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and conduct regular safety audits.
• Monitor and enforce quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the handover process to the client, including documentation, punch list clearance, and final acceptance.
• Support preparation and verification of site-related invoicing and billing documentation.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with all subcontractors and vendors.
• Resolve technical and operational issues on-site with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Perform effectively under pressure and in challenging environments to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MV substation, switchgear, RTU, telecom, and T&C activities.
• Strong knowledge of protection systems, SCADA, communication protocols, and commissioning procedures.
• Proven experience in site reporting, quality assurance, client handover, and invoicing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and maintain professional relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with IEC standards, local electrical codes, and HSE regulations.
• Fluency in English and local Pakistani languages (e.g., Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Pakistan and work in remote locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and electrical/telecom testing tools.
