Deputy / Assistant Manager - Purchase

Kuala, India

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise procurement activities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with vendors to secure cost-effective deals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores, kitchen, and other departments to ensure availability of required materials.
  • Review purchase requisitions and ensure timely approval and processing of purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement, supplier performance, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements.
  • Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, quality complaints, or supply disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.
  • Assist in preparing procurement budgets, forecasts, and periodic reports for management review.
  • Stay updated with market trends, new suppliers, and alternative products to improve efficiency and cost savings.
  • Support in implementing ERP/procurement systems and process improvements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
