    Job Description:

    Qualification & Experience:

    Essential:

    • Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized University with 12 years of relevant experience.

    Desirable:

    • MBA (Finance) from an HEC-recognized university with 07 years of University experience.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end processing of all scholarship-related cases, including documentation, evaluation, and approval stages, in coordination with the Director UAO.
    • Coordinate the regular review and updating of data, agreements, and policy documents related to various scholarship programs to ensure they remain accurate, relevant, and aligned with institution and donor requirements
    • Act as the official Scholarship Focal Person for NUST, maintaining active communication and coordination with external donor agencies such as HEC, PEEF, SEEF, KPEF, CMEEF, Punjab HEC, British Council, and others.
    • Handle various merit-based and need-based scholarship programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, sponsored by NUST, HEC, and other national or international organizations.
    • Prepare comprehensive data sheets of applicants, organize and facilitate interviews, and develop selection lists for candidates applying for internal and external need-based scholarships.
    • Donor reports of NUST Trust Fund (Endowment, Annual, Zakat)
    • Look after all matters with NTF regarding scholarship releases, audited reports, tax exemptions etc.
    • Evaluate eligibility of applicants and forward well-supported recommendations to respective external agencies for final approval and scholarship disbursement.
    • Incorporate findings from physical verification teams to make necessary adjustments to scholarship allocations, ensuring fairness and accuracy.
    • Ensure that all required control documents and progress reports are compiled and submitted to donor agencies within stipulated timelines to avoid delays in funding.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all scholarship-related queries from students, parents, academic departments, and external institutions. Provide support via email, official correspondence, telephone, e-office, in-person interactions and case to case brief matters from NUST higher management.
    • Develop and implement tracking systems to monitor scholarship disbursement, student compliance, and academic progress to ensure transparency and accountability.
    • Compile periodic analytical reports on scholarship slot allocation, monitoring student performance.
    • Conduct awareness and orientation sessions for newly enrolled students and departments to enhance understanding of available scholarship opportunities, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
    • Work in coordination with NUST ICT Directorate to contribute towards digital transformation by developing or upgrading scholarship management systems, such as e-portals and databases, to ensure streamlined application processing and effective data management..

    Terms and Conditions:

    • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics /Professional).
    • Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

    Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

    • 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
    • NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOCfrom Head of Institution.
    • In process of pursuing a required degree.
    • Medically unfit.
    • Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
    • Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.
    • Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
    • Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
