Deputy General Manager

Manpower Türkiye , our client in the education and social development sector , is seeking a dynamic and strategic Deputy General Manager to support executive leadership and oversee key functions including scholarships, partnerships, project development, and stakeholder engagement.

This role is ideal for senior professionals with a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience , especially those who have led strategic initiatives in education, non-profit, consulting, or corporate CSR functions and are eager to make a meaningful societal impact.

Key Qualifications

• University degree in relevant fields (e.g., Social Sciences, Education, Management, Public Administration);
• Master’s degree preferred
• At least 10 years of professional experience , including managerial roles involving strategic planning, program or project management
• Excellent command of English
• Willingness to relocate to or currently residing in Ankara
• Availability for national and international travel
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
• High emotional intelligence, strong communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Adaptable, solution-oriented, and committed to long-term institutional goals
• Prior experience in cross-sector partnerships or working with NGOs, donors, or government bodies is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance a wide-reaching scholarship system , ensuring equity and sustainability
• Identify and develop new scholarship programs based on emerging educational needs
• Initiate and manage collaborations with national and international institutions across sectors
• Design and implement strategic projects focused on improving student learning and teacher development
• Maintain strong coordination with domestic and international representatives and partners
