Deputy Manager Accounts

CA inter/ Finalist 5 Years (Articles from Big 5 Firms), ACCA or ICMA: 8-10 years or MBA: 12 years of experience.

  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP Modules.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, ledger management, accounts payable and receivable in relation to construction projects accounting.
  • Checking of vouchers/ transactions timely and accurately.
  • Systems & Automation: work in ERP modules to enhance reporting systems and recommend improvements for process efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Bank Payments, receipts & sales proceeds: Oversee timely recording of payments, receipts; ensure effective coordination with treasury and banking partners to facilitate accurate and prompt reconciliation processes.
  • Forecasting and budgeting of monthly project cost, payables and expenses.
  • Working capital monitoring and reporting to HOD for managing it on optimum levels.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports for the management.
  • FinancialReporting: Prepare quarterly and annual accounts of group entities for audit.
  • Audit, Tax & corporate compliances: Assist in stautory audits, prepare necessary statements & returns for tax & SECP Authorities and support annual reports preparation.
  • Assist to prepare SOPs to establish, improve and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles for better control of the management.
  • Establish control, maintain and safe custody of files and records to document transactions.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the HOD (Head of Department).
