Deputy Manager-Production (Foam)

Job Description:

• Develop and execute daily to weekly production plans with the Planning Department to meet targets.
• Coordinate with Unit-4 supervisors for emergency orders, slitting plans, scrap recycling, and maintaining safe stock levels.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials while coordinating with Maintenance, Planning, and Stores for uninterrupted operations.
• Address production-related issues, escalate critical matters, and collaborate with QA teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Control wastage of raw materials, manpower, and steam consumption, while identifying cost-reduction and process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain discipline, monitor attendance, and manage departmental efficiency.
• Keep accurate production records, analyze performance data (including B-Quality reports), and prepare reports for management review.
• Support ongoing R&D initiatives and share findings with the General Manager Operations.

Job Specification:

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial engineering / Mechanical engineering.

Experience: 5 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing & production environment.

Skill

• Strong understanding of production planning and workflow management.
• Knowledge of quality standards and compliance practices.
• Leadership skills to supervise and motivate shop floor team
• Excellent communication skills
