Deputy Manager – R&D (Formulation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead formulation development for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products from concept to commercialization.
• Plan, execute, and monitor R&D projects in alignment with company objectives.
• Oversee stability studies, pilot batches, scale-up, and validation processes.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, DRAP, and international regulatory requirements.
• Develop and review technical documents, including SOPs, batch records, and validation protocols.
• Train and mentor junior R&D staff to ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
• Utilize SAP and other digital systems for R&D documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

• Pharm-D or MSc in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in formulation development, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GMP guidelines and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
