Job Description:
- Research and analyze competitor products, pricing, packaging, and positioning.
- Identify market trends, gaps, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Propose attractive and functional packaging and labeling concepts in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure packaging aesthetics enhance shelf appeal.
- Recommend sustainable and cost-effective packaging materials.
- Review and provide feedback on packaging and labeling mock-ups.
- Conduct niche market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences.
- Develop product concepts tailored to specific market segments.
- Support creation of product prototypes and coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers.
- Work closely with marketing, procurement, and production teams for smooth product development.
- Prepare research reports and presentations for management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Product Design, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in R&D, product development, or market research (FMCG industry preferred).
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Good sense of aesthetics and awareness of design trends.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and labeling compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office; basic design tool skills (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) a plus.
- Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
