Job Summary:
The Deputy Nursing Superintendent assists the Nursing Superintendent in planning, organizing, and supervising all nursing services to ensure high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare standards, and efficient utilization of nursing resources.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administration & Supervision
- Assist in the overall management of nursing services and act as the Nursing Superintendent in her absence.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of Nursing Officers, Ward In-Charges, and other nursing staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing and deployment based on workload and patient acuity.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior among nursing staff.
2. Quality & Patient Care
- Ensure delivery of safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care in all departments.
- Monitor infection control practices and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction standards are maintained.
- Participate in audits, quality checks, and accreditation processes (NABH/JCI, etc.).
3. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate in-service education programs for nurses.
- Mentor and guide nursing staff for professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Participate in orientation programs for new recruits and student nurses.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with medical, administrative, and support departments for smooth hospital operations.
- Handle grievances, conflicts, and staff welfare concerns.
- Maintain effective communication between management and nursing staff.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain nursing records, reports, and statistics accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital and statutory documentation requirements.
- Assist in preparation of departmental budgets, equipment procurement, and resource planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10–15 years of nursing experience
- Registration with State Nursing Council is mandatory.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
