Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced Deputy Project Manager (Civil Engineer) with mandatory MEW approval and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil, utilities, or infrastructure works.

The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning and executing all project activities, ensuring compliance with MEW standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Planning

• Assist the Project Manager in overall project execution, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Track project progress, milestones, and manpower deployment.
• Ensure work is executed as per specifications, drawings, and MEW standards.

Technical & Site Supervision

• Supervise site operations including civil and steel-fabrication works.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure timely MEW-related submissions, inspections, and approvals.
• Attend progress meetings and provide technical support.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and project documentation.
• Support in preparing RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and all required MEW documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil/infrastructure/industrial construction projects.
• Valid MEW Approval is required.
• Experience in construction and steel-fabrication projects is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and AutoCAD.
