Responsibilities <ul> <li>1. Attend meetings with nominated barge personnel to review the appropriate requirements of the lifting drawings and the related procedures to be followed.</li> <li>2. Conduct and report on periodic inspections of the cranes including manufacturer maintenance recommendations to the Plant department.</li> <li>3. Report any defects observed as per manufacturer's instructions to Barge Foreman.</li> <li>4. Ensure that the crane, cabin and engine room are kept clean and free of clutter.</li> <li>5. Clearly display and update the load chart in the cabin to ensure it is visible to all during normal operating conditions of the derrick crane.</li> <li>6. Ensure compliance with Company codes, HSE & offshore regulations and the barge's operations manual.</li> </ul>
