Design Consultant – Residential/Commercial Interiors

About the Role:

At Decotales, we don’t sell interiors—we guide clients to create their dream homes and stunning workspaces. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills and a good sense of space, design logic, and lifestyle alignment. You’ll be the bridge between clients and the design team, helping turn aspirations into functional and aesthetic interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with potential clients through calls, WhatsApp, virtual meetings, and in-person consultations
• Understand their lifestyle needs, space requirements, and budget preferences
• Suggest suitable design directions, material selections, and layouts
• Prepare and present clear and transparent project estimates
• Coordinate with the design and technical teams to ensure expectations are met
• Maintain proactive communication with clients at every stage
• Build trust and long-term relationships through value-added service

Candidate Profile:

• Strong verbal communication in English and one local language
• Client-facing personality with a problem-solving mindset
• Eagerness to learn interior basics, material knowledge, and layout planning
• Familiarity with WhatsApp, Google Sheets, and documentation
• Calm, professional, and focused on client experience
• Willing to work weekends, with a weekly off during weekdays

Eligibility:

• Freshers and candidates up to 2 years of experience are welcome
• Background in design, sales, client handling, or service roles preferred
• Full training will be provided on materials, process, costing, and layout logic

Compensation:

• CTC: ₹2.4 – ₹4.2 Lakhs per annum
• Incentives for every closed or converted project
