Design Engineer – Valves & Die Casting

Candidates should have experience in Valve design and die casting manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Development

• Design valve components and die-cast parts using CAD tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Create innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs.
• Work with R&D, production, and quality teams to improve designs.

Technical Oversight

• Perform feasibility studies, stress analysis, and tolerance checks.
• Ensure designs follow standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
• Review and approve drawings and BOMs.

Process Integration

• Coordinate with die-casting teams to optimize molds and casting processes.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles for better manufacturability.
• Support tooling development and solve casting-related issues.

Project Management

• Handle multiple design projects from concept to production.
• Prepare design documents, reports, and validation plans.
• Guide junior engineers and support team development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP and PLM systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
