Job Title: Design & Estimation Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Design & Estimation Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems with UAE experience to handle end-to-end system design and cost estimation. The ideal candidate will ensure all fire protection systems are technically accurate, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant safety codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Drafting:

• Design fire fighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, wet/dry risers, CO₂, and foam systems
• Prepare detailed layouts using AutoCAD in compliance with NFPA and UAE Fire Code
• Coordinate with MEP teams for system integration
• Review site conditions and client requirements for accurate design solutions

Estimation & Costing:

• Prepare BOQs and perform quantity take-offs
• Estimate project costs and material requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers and support procurement activities
• Submit accurate and timely cost reports with risk analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in fire fighting system design & estimation
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and UAE Fire Code
• Experience in sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire alarms, and suppression systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Additional Requirements:

• Must be currently based in UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai
• Immediate joiners preferred
