Summary of Duties:

  • Primary Focus on Branding and Product Design: Lead the development of creative concepts for branding, packaging, and product design, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy while leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-assisted creative tools, to enhance ideation and production workflows.
  • AI-Enhanced Design Workflow: Integrate AI-powered tools and generative technologies into the design process to accelerate concept exploration, visual development, and production efficiency while maintaining creative standards.
  • Lead and Drive Company-wide Design Initiatives: Lead company-wide design initiatives by driving creative solutions across departments, extending beyond branding and product design to encompass marketing, digital content, and multimedia projects.
  • Collaboration with Creative Director: Partner closely with the Creative Director to deliver a high volume of motion and still graphics, ensuring all design work supports broader creative goals and aligns seamlessly with video and TV production

  • Innovative Design Solutions: Explore and implement modern design techniques, including AI-assisted creative tools and emerging digital technologies, to keep visuals fresh, relevant, and competitive.
  • Flexibility in Creative Exploration: While focusing on product and branding, contribute to other creative areas, including motion graphics, visual storytelling, and AI-augmented content development as opportunities arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop packaging and branding materials that reflect and evolve the brand’s aesthetic.
  • Design promotional assets for marketing campaigns and product launches across digital and print platforms.
  • Utilize illustration, Photoshop compositing, and 3D modeling for toy design and related projects.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools for concept generation, mood boards, visual exploration, and rapid prototyping while maintaining creative direction and brand consistency.
  • Create cross-platform content, including motion graphics and short-form visual assets, to support marketing and digital storytelling.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute creative concepts, including exploring AI-driven workflows to expand creative possibilities.
  • Prepare production-ready files, ensuring all assets meet quality standards, technical specifications, and brand guidelines.
  • Stay current with design trends, AI developments in creative industries, and emerging technologies that can enhance efficiency and innovation.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality work on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in Graphic Design is preferred; however, relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional design experience in branding, product design, or related creative fields.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling.
  • Expert in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows (such as generative design, AI image tools, or AI-assisted editing).
  • Expert knowledge of Avid Express, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, and Cinema 4D is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver quality final products under tight deadline pressures.
  • Experience working with high-profile brands/Talent.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $120,000 per year

Work Location: This is an on-site position. Candidates must be able to work from our Burbank office during scheduled work hours.
