Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Design Manager – Aluminum & Façade to lead our design department and deliver high-performance façade solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in aluminum and façade system engineering, with proven experience managing the full design lifecycle from concept to execution. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring quality, innovation, and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Design Leadership & Management

• Lead and manage the façade design team across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Review, validate, and approve technical drawings, design submissions, and shop drawings.
• Provide expert guidance on façade system design, material selection, and constructability.

2. Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate façade systems seamlessly.
• Participate in design meetings to address client and consultant requirements.
• Provide technical support to project execution teams during fabrication and installation.

3. Technical Documentation

• Supervise preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Maintain standardized documentation practices and a technical knowledge library.

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Research and implement new materials, façade systems, and advanced design methods.
• Lead initiatives to improve design quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in façade engineering, sustainability, and construction technology.

5. Team Development

• Mentor and guide junior designers and draftsmen, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Conduct design reviews, provide feedback, and evaluate technical performance.
• Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the design team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in façade and aluminum system design, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record with high-rise, commercial, or iconic façade projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or similar 3D modeling/design tools.
• Strong understanding of structural principles, thermal performance, and aluminum/façade materials.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
