Position: Design & Proposal Engineer

Location: Blue Area, Islamabad (Applicants must be residents of Islamabad/Rawalpindi or nearby)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and development of LV & MV Switchgear including PCC, MCC, Synchronization Panels, ATS Panels, and VED Panels.

Preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), GA drawings, wiring diagrams, load calculations, feeder arrangements, and cable sizing.

Conduct busbar sizing, short-circuit withstand capacity analysis, and ETAP studies (load flow, short-circuit).

Manage design changes, vendor management, and coordination with sales teams & clients.

Develop estimations, BOQs, and cost proposals by reviewing electrical specifications and tender documents.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with project requirements.

Ensure compliance with IEC standards (IEC 61439, IEC 62271) and local codes.

Support project management activities from design to delivery.

Skills & Tools Required:

AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Solid Works Electrical (configurations & design).

MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle, etc.).

Strong knowledge of IEC standards & local codes.

Expertise in proposal preparation, BOQ, cost estimation, and documentation.

Commercial & project management skills.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in switchgear design & proposals.
