Design & Sales Associate

Are you passionate about design and great customer experiences? Ökenhem, a modern Scandinavian home décor and furniture store is looking for a dynamic, friendly part-time Sales Associate to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with front desk sales.
• Engage customers in conversation, helping them discover unique, high-end products and close sales.
• Learn and speak knowledgeably about our high-end product lines, highlighting their quality and design.
• Assist with behind-the-scenes work such as unpacking shipments, cleaning, inventory, and organizing.
• Help create product listings and support marketing tasks (e.g., email campaigns, social media).
• Be available for additional hours during special events and holidays.

Ideal Candidate:

• Friendly, outgoing personality; comfortable engaging with customers and making sales.
• Interest in interior design and the ability to intelligently discuss design trends and premium products.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage behind-the-scenes work efficiently.
• Willing to help with marketing efforts, including email and social media tasks.
• Reliable and flexible, with a willingness to step in as needed, especially during busier times.
• Must be able to work both morning and afternoon shifts throughout the week including weekends.

• Are you able to work both morning or afternoon shifts as well as occasional evening shifts? Our hours are 10-6 Monday through Saturday with the occasional late close at 8:00 PM during holidays or special events. You must be flexible enough to work any shift.
