Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with pro-level expertise in Kubernetes to lead deployment automation, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust and secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with AWS, Vercel, and Kubernetes, driving scalability, resilience, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize AWS and Vercel cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
- Expertly configure, administer, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, including multi-node scaling, namespaces, RBAC, networking, and Helm charts.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and recovery of containerized applications.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure smooth releases and continuous delivery.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 / ISO standards for security, availability, and change management.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost and performance.
- Enhance disaster recovery, backup, and failover strategies in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging DevOps tools/technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong expertise in:
- Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, networking, RBAC, Helm, operators, monitoring).
- AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, VPC).
- Vercel for modern web deployments.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring & logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.
- Relevant certifications (CKA/CKAD, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) are highly preferred.
Performance Indicators
- Stability and efficiency of Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines.
- Reliability, uptime, and scalability of deployed applications.
- Speed, automation, and accuracy of deployments with minimal downtime.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (Dev/QA/IT).
- Compliance with SOC 2 / ISO standards in deployment and infrastructure management.
