Responsibilities
Continuous Integration & Deployment:
-
Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based platforms.

Build and maintain Docker container images, managing all associated dependencies.
Environment Setup & Maintenance
-
Configure, automate, and maintain environments across diverse infrastructures, including on-premises Kubernetes clusters, AWS EKS, VMware, and containerized environments.

Focus on process automation to increase efficiency and consistency.
Cluster Management
-
Deploy and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters, MySQL clusters, storage solutions (e.g., OpenEBS), ELK stacks, and Redis.

Ensure high availability and resilience of infrastructure.
Automation & Configuration Management
-
Leverage tools like Ansible and Puppet to automate environment setup and simplify configuration management.
Application Modernization
-
Collaborate with development teams to transition legacy monolithic applications to microservices architectures on both on-premises and public cloud platforms, enhancing scalability and maintainability.
Dashboard & Integration Development
-
Create dashboards and integrate components to improve visibility into infrastructure and application performance.
Operational Automation
-
Utilize APIs, CLI tools, and custom scripting to automate repetitive operational tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
DevOps & Infrastructure Automation

Streamline infrastructure operations by automating deployments, configurations, and environment provisioning across hybrid cloud and on-prem platforms.
Qualifications
Operating Systems:
-
Proficiency in Unix-based environments, including RedHat and Ubuntu.
Build & CI Tools
-
Experience with build systems (e.g., Dockerfiles, Make) and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
Virtualization & Containerization
-
Hands-on experience with VMware, Docker containers, and Kubernetes orchestration.
Scripting
-
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
Platform CLI Tools
-
Familiarity with CLI tools for Veeam Backup, VMware, AWS, Azure, and Netscaler load balancers.
API Integration
-
Ability to interact with REST APIs for data retrieval and posting, including implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Container Orchestration & Management
-
Expertise with on-prem Kubernetes (including AWS EKS) and Docker Compose.
Configuration Management & Infrastructure As Code (IaC)
-
Skilled in tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.
Monitoring & Logging Tools
-
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, and SolarWinds for monitoring and logging.
Cloud Platforms

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Source Control
-
Proficient in Git for version control and team collaboration.
The candidate should have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
