JOB DESCRIPTION

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native environments. The role focuses on improving deployment efficiency, system reliability, and scalability across applications. The engineer will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and ensure stable and secure application delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
• Manage source code repositories and version control using Git
• Build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar tools
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and release processes
• Ensure security best practices are followed across environments
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and optimize resource usage
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and processes

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Understanding of system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Strong problem-solving and automation mindset

POTENTIAL BACKGROUND

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• Experience working in cloud-native and microservices environments
• Exposure to enterprise-level deployment and release management
• Experience in automation and infrastructure optimization

CERTIFICATIONS (MANDATORY/PREFERRED)

• Docker Certified Associate – Preferred
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) – Preferred
• Azure/AWS DevOps Certifications – Preferred

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

• Arabic or Non-Arabic Speaker
