Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Nutritional Assessment
- Assess the nutritional status of patients through clinical evaluation and dietary history.
- Identify nutritional risks and plan appropriate dietary interventions.
- Diet Planning & Implementation
- Prepare individualized diet plans based on medical conditions (diabetes, renal, cardiac, gastrointestinal issues, etc.).
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to ensure accurate diet implementation.
- Dietary Counselling
- Provide counselling to inpatients and outpatients regarding therapeutic diets.
- Educate patients and families on nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and healthy eating habits.
- Diet Preparation & Supervision
- Oversee preparation of special diets in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure hygiene, food safety, and quality in the hospital kitchen.
- Documentation & Monitoring
- Maintain detailed records of patient diets, counselling, and follow-up.
- Monitor patient progress and revise diet plans as needed.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to NABH standards and hospital diet protocols.
- Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Inventory & Procurement
- Coordinate with the purchase department for diet materials.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of diet-related items.
- Training & Coordination
- Train dietary and kitchen staff on hygienic practices and updated diet protocols.
- Attend departmental meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food & Nutrition / Clinical Nutrition / Dietetics
- Relevant clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and hospital nutrition standards
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and counselling skills
- Good clinical judgement
- Knowledge of NABH dietary guidelines
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary medical team

Pay: ₹10,538.12 - ₹17,275.02 per month
