Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments (dietary history, anthropometrics, biochemical data, medical history, lifestyle factors)
- Diagnose nutritional problems and identify needs and priorities
- Develop, implement and monitor individualized nutrition care plans / therapeutic diets
- Adjust diet plans based on ongoing evaluation, lab results and progress
- Provide one-on-one counseling and group education sessions on nutrition, healthy eating, lifestyle changes
- Educate patients, families, caregivers on dietary management for chronic diseases (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, renal disease, cardiovascular disease, GI disorders)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals to integrate nutrition into overall patient care
- Work with food service / kitchen staff to ensure meal plans are executed appropriately, meet dietary requirements, and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain detailed records: nutrition assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes
- Stay updated with latest research in nutrition, dietary guidelines, evidence-based practices
- Participate in community programs, wellness initiatives, workshops and awareness campaigns
- Audit, evaluate and improve dietetic services / protocols
- Contribute to policy development, SOPs, clinical protocols in nutrition
- Supervise / mentor junior dietitians, interns or dietetic assistants (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation and quality standards (e.g. hospital, health authority, etc.)
Qualification & Experience :
- Bachelor or Master in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or related field.
- Fresher to 3 yrs of experience
