Additional responsibilities include overseeing the technical operation, design, maintenance, security, and user experience ensuring the webpages and overall sites align with organizational goals, security and brand. Key duties include updating content, troubleshooting issues, monitoring performance, and implementing new features. A successful candidate possesses an expertise in content management systems, website analytics, SEO, copywriting, and strong communication abilities, problem-solving and HTML coding.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the City of Hollywood main website, www.HollywoodFL.org, www.ChooseHollywoodFL.com and www.HollywoodCRA.orgCreate, organize, edit, maintain, update, manage and post content to be accurate, relevant, and easy for users to understand.Ensure the most up-to-date information is provided to the public with a focus on a positive and seamless user experience, ADA compliance, search and customer service for ease of use and responsiveness.Collaborate with city departments to ensure all web content is relevant and updated and determines best strategies to promote their initiatives and educate the public.Lead website liaison trainings and manages checklist initiative, including management of website documents.Create or convert accessible content and fulfills other accessibility/digital equity requirements. Evaluate and ensure a unified design, layout, and organization, as well as color, typography and graphics consistently meet branding goals across the site(s).Seek, develop and recommend new ways that web projects and initiatives can promote the city. Lead redesign efforts and initiatives and collaborates with team members to implement new features that align the website with organizational objectives.Compile and analyze web data and analytics, monitors traffic and optimizes for search engines (SEO) to ensure site performance across devices and platforms.Monitor traffic and implement tools to maximize advertising media buy.Monitor emerging trends and technologies.Provide training related to web duties as necessary, including management of website.Manage web service/hosting partners and contracts to ensure they meet service standards, leads regular service review meetings, delivers feedback to web partners. Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting technical problems with web service partner, and ensures website functionality and speed.Assist in developing ways to effectively manage all archived web content.Use additional external communication, scheduling and archiving tools.Establish and maintain effective and professional relationships with work colleagues, supervisors and managers.Perform related work and other duties as assigned.Regular and consistent in-office attendance for the assigned work schedule is essential.Must effectively and positively represent the City in delivering and performing work with colleagues and clients, irrespective of gender, race, religion, age, disability, political affiliation or belief, or sexual orientation.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related field.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in website management for a government agency or private agency servicing local government clients.Preferred: Master Certified Web Professional – Designer (CWP) PreferredGoogle Data Analytics Certificate - PreferredAdditional education and experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver’s License: With proof of automobile insurance Background Check: Must have an acceptable background recordDriving Abstract: Must have an acceptable driving recordKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Content Management Systems and social media integration as part of the city's web initiatives.Industry standards in website management, development and content accessibility.Website optimization and analytics using Google and other social media tools.CivicPlus Solution.Experience with using API Integration tools, credentials, tokens, dongles and security keys required.Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Tag Assistant, Meta Pixel and WordPress required. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, multilingual (English / Spanish / French) preferred.Strong spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.Planning, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.Ability to use PC-compatible desktop publishing, website content management systems, and word processing programs to create and prepare for public dissemination information on a broad range of issues for diverse audiences.Skill in the operation of general office software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint and modern office equipment.Knowledge of the laws affecting public disclosure of information.Experience with contract management a plus.Ability to organize, prioritize and manage complex workloads.Ability to analyze information quickly, use independent judgment and make effective decisions.Skill in the operation of basic photography or audio-visual equipment. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
