Overview:
Position Overview
Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Content Manager to drive content development across multiple platforms in alignment with companywide strategy. As a member of the Marketing Team, this role will be key in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth. Specifically, the Digital Content Manager will have discretion and independent decision-making authority in creating FBM’s social media strategies, content development, channels, and activations, while playing a critical role in shaping FBM’s digital voice, ensuring consistency of messaging, and maximizing impact through effective storytelling and data-driven optimization.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and brings proven expertise in digital content creation (owning the entire process from concept to execution), social media management, and performance measurement. This individual will help advance FBM’s brand presence, foster customer engagement, and drive measurable growth.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
  • Own the development and execution of the company’s social media strategy, driving clear objectives, integrated campaigns, and delivering data-driven performance insights
  • Develop and manage FBM’s social media content calendar across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Direct coordination across the Marketing Team and external teams to create, schedule, and optimize posts, videos, and campaigns
  • Establish, administer, and monitor the social media and digital content budget, approving expenditures and aligning investments with strategic priorities
  • Monitor and engage with audiences by managing responses, comments, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze performance metrics to track effectiveness and continuously improve engagement strategies

Content/Creative Development
  • Develop advertising creative for paid media channels, at times independently and at times with external agency partners. Includes visual and written creative development – still imagery (photo selection, retouching), video creation, copy development, overall design
  • Develop, edit, and repurpose content across various formats (web, email, social, video, landing pages, internal platforms)
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all digital touchpoints

Digital Asset Management
  • Own and manage FBM’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring accuracy, organization, and accessibility, including backlog of assets that require upload, organization, tagging, etc
  • Collaboration with internal teams to determine use-cases
  • Maintain version control of digital assets including product designs, marketing collateral, and creative files

Internal Communications & Digital Product Support
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver internal content such as product rollouts, feature updates, and training/tutorial materials
  • Drive digital adoption through development and delivery of clear, engaging, and instructional content
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to ensure internal messaging aligns with broader business objectives

Continuous Learning & Innovation:
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and social marketing best practices
  • Test new tactics and technologies to enhance social marketing performance and customer engagement

Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Marketing and corporate objectives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in digital content creation and management, social media strategy, and campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of digital tools, social media, marketing automation, SEO, paid media, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to conceive, design, and execute compelling creative content in photo and video forms using visual design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Figma, Canva, Capcut, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems (CMS), DAM platforms such as Bynder, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Brand Folder, etc., and social media scheduling tools.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to use insights and analytics to guide decision-making and improve content effectiveness.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across teams and functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation
The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
  • Base: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
  • Bonus: 10% Target Bonus
  • Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $99,000 - $121,000
  • Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards, or grants
