Wripple's fantasy sports client is looking for a Digital Content Strategist/Designer for a long-term contract in Atlanta or remote. This role is 40-hours/week for 4 months with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Our client is seeking a world-class Content Designer with a specialization in content writing to transform how their website organizes and communicates information.

This role is focused on execution and delivery: you’ll design the backbone of their digital experience—how information flows, how stories unfold, and how users understand and engage with their brand.

Your mission is to produce designs and write copy that continuously ships and evolves their web experience, transforming complex information into something simple, intuitive, and compelling. From the high-level sitemap to the smallest microcopy, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every piece of content feels purposeful, on-brand, and designed for conversion. You will partner closely with theirUI/UX Designer to create a site experience that feels as clear, elevated, and seamless as apple.com.

Key Responsibilities

Information Architecture & Content Strategy

  • User Research & Analysis: Work with UXR and CI teams to understand audience needs, behaviors, and intent. Translate insights into content priorities, navigation logic, and user pathways.
  • Structural Design: Develop best-in-class sitemaps, navigation systems, content hierarchies, and user flows that ensure information is discoverable, logical, and engaging.
  • Content Audit & Gap Analysis: Evaluate existing site content. Identify redundancies, gaps, opportunities, and recommendations for restructuring to simplify and elevate the user experience. As well as how product expansion can and should be implemented now and for the future.
  • Framework Creation: Establish frameworks and templates that govern how information is structured, ensuring consistency, scalability, and clarity across all pages and modules.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Design, creative, development, and marketing to align the site's architecture and content strategy with core product goals, ensuring a cohesive and faithfully executed user experience.

Content Writing & Narrative Craft

  • Page Copywriting: Write clear, concise, and high-impact copy for core pages, landing pages, and product storytelling & how-to pages, that balances brand voice with usability.
  • Conversion-Driven Messaging: Shape persuasive headlines, CTAs, and value propositions that inspire trust and drive user action.
  • Microcopy & UX Writing: Craft micro-interactions (tooltips, error states, labels, onboarding cues) that guide users with simplicity and personality.
  • Voice & Tone: Master the brand voice - elevated, confident, and culturally connected - and ensure consistency across every touchpoint, with intentionality of where the user is in the journey and the action we want them to take.
  • Editing & QA: Edit, refine, and proof content to meet the highest standards of clarity, grammar, and polish.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Portfolio of Excellence: A body of work that demonstrates both structural thinking (IA, sitemaps, flows) and copywriting craft (web pages, UX writing, conversion content).
  • Experience: 5+ years in information architecture, content strategy, UX writing, or a hybrid role at the intersection of design and content. Experience with premium consumer brands or digital platforms strongly preferred.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Figma and Webflow content management.
  • UX Fluency: Strong understanding of usability principles, cognitive load, content hierarchy, and how design + content work together to drive engagement.
  • Analytical Strength: Skilled in content audits, research synthesis, and turning insights into action.
  • Writing Mastery: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; able to make complex ideas crystal clear and engaging.
  • Collaboration: Strong communicator who thrives in partnership with designers and developers; able to defend ideas while listening to feedback.
  • Accessibility Knowledge: Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and inclusive content practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote environment.

What Success Looks Like

  • A re-architected website structure that feels effortless to navigate and intuitively organized.
  • Content that elevates clients’ brand story, builds trust, and drives action at every step.
  • A blueprint (sitemaps, flows, frameworks) that sets a standard for future content and design updates.
  • Internal teams and external users describe the content and structure as “clear, premium, and world-class."
  • Measurable impact on core metrics.
