We are looking for a/an Digital Learning & MOOC Development Specialist to join the Inspire Horizon Project of our university who meets the following criteria:

Qualifications

• Proven experience in e-learning development (preferably MOOCs).
• Strong multimedia production skills, including video/audio editing and basic graphic design.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Open edX).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and multilingual subtitle workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proactive approach in taking the lead and self-initiating, planning, and executing responsibilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Description

• Transform expert content into engaging online modules, including video lectures, quizzes, downloadable resources, and subtitles in pilot languages.
• Record, edit, and produce accessible multimedia content (video/audio), optimized for multiple devices and diverse audiences.
• Deploy and manage modules on MOOC-compatible platforms (e.g., Moodle, Open edX), ensuring SCORM/xAPI compliance.
• Coordinate subtitle integration in multiple project languages and ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Conduct quality assurance testing and ensure smooth technical delivery on the INSPIRE project website.
• Provide technical guidance and support to partners during content creation and platform use.
