Digital Marketing Analyst

Citypeak Marketing is looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Analyst. If you have a passion for data-driven marketing, managing digital paid advertising campaigns, setting up conversion tracking, and data reports, then we want to hear from you! Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Google Analytics & Google Ads + Meta Ads
  • Experience with conversion tracking, paid ads, data reporting, link building, content management systems and website editing (i.e. Squarespace, Wix, WordPress)

Role Responsibilities

  • Conversion Tracking GA4 and GTM
  • Paid Ads Management (Google + Meta)

  • Content Writing (SEO & Social Media)
  • Monthly Reports
  • Occasional Client Meetings (not leading meetings)

1) Conversion Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track and report on KPIs for digital marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Set up client accounts for Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Leverage Google Analytics (GA4), Google Docs & Sheets, and Looker Studio to create reports and dashboards.
  • Create & present (occasionally) monthly paid advertising performance reports including high-level overviews and recommendations.

2) Paid Advertising Management: MAIN FOCUS AREA

  • Expertise with Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram). Experience with LinkedIn ads.
  • Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and optimized for maximum performance.
  • Successfully run paid advertising campaigns through A/B testing, budget spend efficiency, campaign type, ad groups, keyword management, negative keywords, content writing, keywords, targeting, sitelinks, assets, and more.
  • Plan and oversee budgets for dedicated digital marketing projects and activities, ensuring cost-effective execution.
  • Recommend data-driven insights to improve conversion rates and overall marketing performance.
  • Actively monitor and routinely optimize of active campaigns

3) Website Design:

  • Design new websites on drag-and-drop editors (Wix, Squarespace, etc.)
  • Edit existing websites with content pages, graphic design, etc.
  • Update content in collaboration with the marketing team and improve technical function through site audits.
  • Build and implement lead forms.
  • Setting up Google products on websites and troubleshooting technical issues

4) Content Writing:

  • Create content using the process (including AI tools).
  • Understand best-practices for SEO content writing
  • Knowledge of branding different tones for businesses on social media posts

5) Client Meetings:

  • Join client meetings as needed to report on ads performance and review recommendations. Will not hold meetings alone, but support main account managers with specific projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret ad performance data, optimize campaigns, and report insights to stakeholders.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading and managing digital marketing initiatives with 3+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing competencies such as data analytics management and SEM/SEO, with a proven ability to run campaigns that deliver measurable and impactful results.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized with projects occurring on a routine basis.
  • Strong analytical skills: adept at analyzing and interpreting digital campaign results to generate insights and develop effective digital marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Knowledge and experience with content management systems, PPC advertising tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads Campaign Manager).
  • Excellent written communication, presentation, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to create innovative, compelling, and effective campaigns within the constraints of a regulated industry.
  • Acceptance of using the Hubstaff program for time tracking on projects.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
