Digital Marketing Assistant

Overview
This entry-level position offers hands-on experience supporting both a local service business (Summit Environmental Solutions - https://sesnow.com) and a digital marketing agency (Hive Marketing - https://hivemarketingteam.com). The role is perfect for someone eager to grow their skills across social media, digital content creation, and website management. You’ll support senior marketers while taking ownership of day-to-day content projects and tasks.

Note: This role is NOT REMOTE. Any applicants that are not located within commuting distance of Fredericksburg, VA will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist and create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social and web platforms platforms (Wordpress, Google Business, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Write blog posts and content pages on various topics.
• Design graphics and simple video content using Canva.
• Support website updates, landing page builds, and light SEO tasks.
• Monitor social accounts and respond to comments/messages.
• Assist with content calendars, campaign reporting, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with senior marketers on projects and campaigns.
• Take initiative to learn new digital tools and marketing best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with Canva, WordPress, Elementor.
• Familiarity with SEO basics and content optimization.
• Bonus: Adobe Creative Suite or video editing experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
