Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Intern will support School’s admissions growth through creative marketing campaigns, online promotions, lead generation, and brand-building activities. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, digital media, social campaigns, and community outreach.
You will work closely with the Admissions Counsellors, School Management, and Marketing Team to attract parents, create awareness, and drive enquiries for PP1–Class 12.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage daily content posting on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn
- Develop reels, short videos, parent testimonial videos
- Monitor comments, messages, and enquiries across platforms
- Create storytelling-style posts that reflect school values (culture, innovation, STEM, discipline, etc.)
2. Lead Generation & Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns for admissions
- Manage Facebook/Instagram Ads backend (learning support provided)
- Run WhatsApp outreach messages and track responses
- Optimize landing pages and enquiry forms for better conversions
3. Content Creation
- Write creative captions, newsletters, announcements
- Assist in designing posters/flyers for online and offline use
- Create templates for festival posts, event posts, and weekly updates
- Support video editing for school events and campus highlights
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Track daily performance of posts, reels, and ads
- Monitor enquiry sources and generate weekly reports
- Maintain a dashboard of marketing activities and ROI
- Analyse competitors (local schools) and share insights
5. Community Outreach Support
- Help run pediatric clinic survey campaign (QR code + form tracking)
- Support apartment/outreach events with marketing material
- Promote school activities like STEM labs, sports, events, and value programs
6. Coordination
- Work with counsellors to ensure leads reach the admissions team
- Maintain communication with photographers, designers, vendors
- Support the creation of digital boards/screens content in clinics & public places
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals
- Ability to create and edit reels/videos (CapCut, Canva, InShot preferred)
- Good communication & creative thinking
- Interest in education, child development, and branding
- Social media savvy (Instagram Reels is a must)
- Basic analytics understanding (Instagram insights, website traffic, leads)
- Canva / Adobe Spark / basic design skills (preferred but not mandatory)
Educational Background
- Any undergraduate/graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, BBA, BCom, BA, Psychology, Education, or related fields
