As we grow, we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead our digital and brand visibility efforts, ensuring that The Monk becomes not just a place to dine — but a must-visit culinary destination in Dubai.

Role Overview

As our Marketing Specialist, you will be the creative engine behind The Monk’s brand visibility across digital platforms, social media, and food aggregator websites. You will plan and execute campaigns to drive footfall, promote dine-in experiences, and build strong partnerships through events and sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities -Digital & Social Media Presence

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy.
  • Manage and grow The Monk’s presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create engaging content (photo, video, stories) showcasing menu items, events, and behind-the-scenes.
  • Monitor analytics and optimize campaigns for engagement and reach.

Aggregator Platforms

  • Optimize listings on Zomato, Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, etc.
  • Run promotional campaigns on food delivery apps to increase visibility and orders.
  • Respond to customer reviews and manage reputation across platforms.

Dine-In Promotion & Engagement

  • Design campaigns and offers to drive dine-in traffic, especially during off-peak hours.
  • Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure marketing aligns with service goals.
  • Plan loyalty and referral programs to retain customers.

Events & Sponsorships

  • Identify food festivals, cultural events, and pop-up markets for The Monk to participate in or sponsor.
  • Coordinate logistics and promotional materials for these events.
  • Build relationships with local influencers, event organizers, and community partners.

Creative Campaigns

  • Pitch and execute creative campaigns tied to seasons, holidays, or cultural moments (e.g. Ramadan, New Year, etc.)
  • Align campaign visuals and messaging with The Monk’s brand identity.

Who You Are

  • A creative thinker with a strategic marketing mindset.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, food content, and social media.
  • Passionate about food, hospitality, and storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of the Dubai market and customer base.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, in F&B or hospitality.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Ads, Google Ads.
  • Fluency in English. Arabic is a plus.
