Ministry of Awe (moaphilly.org) is a new cultural attraction and destination coming to Philadelphia in early 2026. This inaugural project is an ever-evolving six-story living work of art that visitors can walk into and explore, built within the walls of a historic bank in Philadelphia’s Old City district. World-renowned and award-winning muralist Meg Saligman, along with a cadre of clever makers, invite visitors to explore this upcoming interactive, multisensory experience—an unparalleled spectacle unlike any other in the region, replete with paintings, sculptures, live performances, soundscapes, and much more.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Digital Media Coordinator creates compelling, creative and authentic content across Ministry of Awe’s digital platforms, including its website and social media channels, and contributes to online community management efforts. The position requires an ability to understand and to convey the highly unique brand position and visitor experience of Ministry of Awe, and to conduct strategic, targeted outreach to audiences in advance of our public opening in March 2026. The position will collaborate with Ministry of Awe staff, contractors, and student co-ops on managing a robust content calendar, tracking data and analytics in order to hone informed content strategies, implementing brand and design assets as needed, and harnessing a growing library of multimedia assets. The position will also contribute to and execute on paid digital and social campaigns, utilizing various tools and platforms.

This temporary, part-time position is for the period of October 2025 through March 2026.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, create, and produce compelling, unique and authentic multimedia content for Ministry of Awe’s social media presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other potential social platforms that builds brand awareness and advances ticket sales
  • Utilize various digital tools to track and analyze data and analytics on web and social, and develop informed content strategies based on these outcomes to optimize ROI
  • Execute on paid digital and social campaigns that enhance Ministry of Awe’s online presence and enhance revenue, utilizing Meta for Business, SEO tools, Google Ads, etc.
  • Create, edit, and post content to Ministry of Awe’s website as needed, utilizing any current or future content management system tools
  • Collaborate with other marketing staff, contractors, and co-ops on building and maintaining a robust content calendar and reporting on performance outcomes on a regular basis
  • Keep abreast of trending topics, memes, audios, etc., on social media and develop ways to ensure Ministry of Awe remains part of the greater online conversation
  • Provide occasional supervision of student co-ops and oversight of assignments
  • Any additional digital marketing duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with major social media platforms required, with a demonstrated knowledge of these platforms and their respective trends, features and user bases is required.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Meta for Business, as well as content calendar and analytics tools (e.g. Sprout) is required.
  • Good project management and time management skills are required.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Canva) is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with others on social media content creation and/or working with influencers is preferred.
  • Experience supervising student interns or co-ops is preferred.
  • A strong established presence on social media (especially TikTok, Instagram, and/or YouTube) is preferred.
  • Good project management and time management skills are required
  • Must be able to be on site at least two days per week and to attend evening and weekend events when required, within weekly allotted hours.

Compensation: $25–30 per hour, 20 hours per week. Compensation commensurate with experience.
