Core Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
- Undertake in house adaptation, editing and production of existing DWTC media and/or third party stock to create short explainers, highlights reels and short form content for internal and external channels
- Service social media and the wider Marketing team with media outputs (videography and still photography), including live stories, BTS, operational b roll, and internal staff comms content as required
- Align work to the approved content calendar; contribute ideas in brainstorms led by Associate Director   social media; ensure all content adheres to DWTC brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences
Pre Production
- Translate approved briefs/scripts into shot lists and simple coverage plans; flag logistics and equipment need to the Content & Production Operations Manager
- Prepare consent forms on site and follow permit/risk instructions
- Maintain personal gear readiness
Production
- Capture high quality video and stills on campus/on location (camera, sound, lighting); practice safe operations; manage on site data as per the Content & Production Operations Manager s SOP
Post Production & Packaging
- Edit to brief with clean narrative flow; add simple motion graphics, captions/subtitles and end cards; version by platform; export to approved presets/specs provided by the Content & Production Operations Manager
- Apply the quality gate owned by Senior Manager   Content and revise quickly to reach  ready to publish.
Collaboration & Handover
- Deliver final packages and source files to the Content & Production Operations Manager with correct naming/metadata; maintain lightweight b roll notes for reuse
- Ensure rights and consents/licenses captured on site are passed to the Content & Production Operations Manager for central record; uphold accessibility standards (captions, legibility, audio clarity)
Operating Environment
The role requires the ability to work effectively when under time bound pressures, deadlines and to deliver quick turn-around times
Formal Education
- University degree or diploma in Digital Media Production, Film and Television, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Photography/Videography, or a closely related field will be an advantage.
- Certification or advanced diploma in Post-Production, Editing, or Motion Graphics will be an advantage
- Equivalent professional experience demonstrating strong practical skills in video production, editing, and creative storytelling will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
Work Experience
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in digital media production, videography, editing, and photography, ideally within a fast-paced events, agency, or in-house marketing environment
- Proven ability to deliver short-form, social-ready video and photo content (Reels, stories, highlight reels, recap edits, BTS)
- Demonstrated experience filming and editing in live or dynamic event environments, with an ability to adapt quickly on-site
- Familiarity with content packaging for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) including resizing, captioning, subtitling, and versioning
- Strong record of collaborating with creative, production, and marketing teams to deliver brand-aligned content under tight timelines
- Experience managing footage, data, and file delivery using digital asset or file-sharing platforms (e.g. Dropbox, OpenText, Google Drive)
- Regional (UAE/GCC) production experience preferred; agency or event-industry background is an advantage
Skills and Knowledge
- Creative eye and storytelling flair, with the ability to turn briefs and raw footage into engaging, shareable social content
- Technical proficiency in photography, videography, and editing - camera operation (DSLR/Mirrorless), lighting, audio capture, and post-production workflows
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition; familiarity with CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or mobile editing tools is an advantage
- Understanding of social platform formats and algorithms, including optimal aspect ratios, durations, and best practices for engagement
- Working knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and basic animation for social video content
- Comfortable filming across a range of environments - events, interviews, indoor/outdoor setups, and corporate spaces
- Strong organisational and file-management skills; disciplined approach to naming, tagging, and archiving media for reuse
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do approach to feedback and iteration
- Proficiency in English required; Arabic a plus
- Certification in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Evidence of understaking practical workshops in camera operation, lighting, audio recording, and field production techniques
- Training in color correction and grading, motion graphics, or basic animation considered a benefit
