Diploma Engineer Trainee ( SCM Sourcing & Purchase )

Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering

6 Month or Fresher of sourcing or procurement in fabrication, machining, or electrical components

Familiarity with ERP systems (especially for purchase modules)

Knowledge of cost estimation, vendor coordination, and quality basics

2. Roles & Responsibilities

Float enquiries and collect quotations from vendors for Class A & B components (e.g., fabricated items, hardware, sheet metal, machining, consumables)

Compare quotations and prepare cost sheets

Coordinate with vendors for material availability and timely delivery

Support in price negotiation and cost-saving initiatives

Maintain purchase records and update ERP accurately

Follow up for material receipts and resolve discrepancies

Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) after internal approvals

Track POs and vendor commitments on delivery timelines

Visit local vendors to assess capacity and quality practices

Support in vendor registration and documentation

Maintain supplier performance logs (OTD, quality, responsiveness)

Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in case of supplier issues

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
