Döhler Turkey is looking for an "Direct Procurement Specialist - Packaging " to be employed in our İzmir Plant with following qualification ;

Your Role

• Creating and tracking contracts related to packaging materials in the system
• Managing the procurement processes of packaging materials in line with company needs
• Operation of strategic purchasing decision mechanisms (price advantage, product shortage, surplus etc.),
• Conducting market research to identify new packaging suppliers and alternative materials
• Adding a new product to the portfolio and/or alternative product approval tracking for a material in the portfolio,
• Weekly reporting and summary presentation to management,
• Contribution to digitalization for process improvements and cooperation with relevant units,
• Supplier payment tracking, negotiating payment terms according to market conditions,
• Effectively monitor subcontracted production processes and ensure necessary coordination with manufacturers.
• Creating and following up purchase orders through SAP or the ERP system in use,
• Actively managing operational processes related to import and logistics,

Your Profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in the food industry,
• Proficiency in SAP is preferred,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Strong communication skills,
• Analytical thinking with innovative point of view,
• Willing to take initiative and responsibility.
• Ability to travel to locations within the region
