Direct Support Professional-Residential

In this role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities-supporting independence, growth, and community inclusion.

Pay & Perks

Who We Are

Founded in 1973 by parents seeking better opportunities for their adult children with disabilities, TURN Community Services has grown to support more than 600 individuals across Utah-from Brigham City to St. George. We offer a wide range of services including residential programs, day programs, supported employment, art centers, and summer camps.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who are:

  • 18 years or older
  • Has good vibes: patient, kind, and dependable
  • Has the ability to keep things professional while still being human
  • Strong communicators with good interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, calm under pressure, and team-oriented

Requirements for most roles include:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable personal vehicle with the ability to transport individuals when needed
  • Ability to drive larger vehicles for some positions

Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

What You'll Do

As a DSP, your role will vary depending on the program, but your impact will always be significant.

Residential DSPs (Early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, overnights): You'll assist individuals in their homes with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication support, hygiene, transportation, and housekeeping. You'll also help teach important life skills such as budgeting, relationship-building, and decision-making. By modeling positive behaviors and offering consistent support, you empower individuals to live as independently as possible.

You'll serve as a mentor, advocate, and role model-helping individuals build confidence, develop skills, and experience a higher quality of life.


Schedules Currently Available

Job Details 1- Part time, 16 hours/week

Sat: 3pm to 11pm
Sun: 3pm to 11pm


Job Details 2- Part time, 20 hours/week

Sun: 11pm-9am
Thurs: 11pm to 9am


Job Details 3- Part time, 20 hours/week

Sun: 11pm-9am
Tues: 11pm to 9am
