Are you a results-driven Amazon e-commerce leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for operational excellence? Lightning Quick is seeking a Amazon E-commerce Director to lead our e-commerce operations, drive growth, and ensure seamless execution across all facets of our Amazon business.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Amazon E-commerce Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Lightning Quick.

  • Oversee and optimize Amazon e-commerce operations to ensure high uptime, fast load times, and a seamless user experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis of sales performance and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and enhance profitability.
  • Work closely with inventory, logistics, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end e-commerce operations.
  • Serve as the hiring manager for the Amazon team, managing recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement training programs and cross-training initiatives to upskill team members in Amazon e-commerce operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Amazon’s regulations, and legal e-commerce requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of product listings, ensuring accuracy, optimization, and compliance.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports detailing sales performance, operational challenges, and strategic solutions for senior management.
  • Project Execution & Innovation
  • Lead special projects and departmental initiatives, ensuring execution within tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to implement new tools, technologies, and automation strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance operational excellence.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer
  • Carry out special departmental projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned by management with tight headlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. (Masters preferred)
  • 4-5 years of experience in Amazon e-commerce operations with a strong background in inventory management, logistics, and fulfilment.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience leading, mentoring, and managing teams in a dynamic and remote e-commerce environment.

  • Agency Experience or worked for a large Amazon Seller (preferred)

  • Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and develop actionable strategies to drive business growth.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, vendor management, and advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
