KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies that align with the organization's transformation objectives. Create plans that encompass communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and measurement of change impact.
  • Identify and analyse stakeholders' needs, concerns, and expectations related to the transformation. Design tailored engagement approaches to secure buy-in and support from stakeholders across various levels.
  • Develop and execute clear and targeted communication plans that articulate the purpose, benefits, and progress of transformation initiatives. Craft messaging that addresses stakeholders' questions, dispels concerns, and promotes a shared understanding of the change journey.
  • Assess the potential impact of transformational changes on processes, teams, and individuals. Develop strategies to mitigate risks, minimize disruptions, and optimize the benefits of changes.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of training programs to equip employees and leaders with the skills needed to succeed in the transformed environment. Provide ongoing support and resources to facilitate skill development and adoption of new practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and managers to build their change leadership competencies. Guide leaders in effectively communicating and modelling change behaviours to influence their teams positively.
  • Establish metrics and methods to measure the effectiveness and impact of change initiatives. Use data-driven insights to iterate on change strategies, improve processes, and demonstrate the value of change management efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between change management and transformation efforts. Integrate change management into project plans and ensure its consideration throughout the transformation lifecycle.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Substantial experience (15+ years) in change management leadership roles. Experience in management consulting firms, particularly in the context of organizational or business transformation and/or corporates leading change management initiatives is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as Prosci, ACMP, or other change management certifications are highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing change management teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex ideas and messages.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to measure change impact and assess the success of change initiatives.
  • Project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Change Management Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading change management efforts for complex organizational transformations, such as digital transformation, cultural change, process reengineering, or mergers/acquisitions.
  • Transformational Projects: Experience overseeing and driving change within large-scale projects that involve significant shifts in processes, technology, and organizational structure.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization, from frontline employees to senior executives.
