DIRECTOR, DIGITAL MARKETING

Salary Pay Range: $62,353.20-$66,000

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4PM

Will help lead and execute digital marketing efforts through integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and measurable growth across digital channels. This position is both strategic and hands-on as well as creative and operational.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of the social media monthly calendar, and the day-to-day digital marketing activities of the agency and its affiliated partners
  • Create, curate and schedule content across multiple platforms utilizing Hootsuite
  • Observe social media posts and comments and respond according to agency policy
  • Develop social advertising strategies to drive both organic and paid/boosted growth and actions
  • Design engaging graphics for social media, and other digital content using Adobe products
  • Must have experience with filming, producing and editing video and photo content
  • Repurpose blog content and brand graphics for digital channels to support agency programs and initiatives
  • Conceptualize and shepherd brand identity, awareness and consistency across all departments of the organization
  • Attend agency and other events to photograph and/or video activities and share to digital channels
  • Understand and monitor digital marketing industry trends, technical advances and requirements to maximize the relevancy of all digital platforms
  • Develop a comprehensive view of digital marketing effectiveness, using multiple data sources, analyzing and preparing reports to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Create ads, emails and other marketing/communications within the FeathR platform
  • Assist the Marketing and Communications team on projects, as needed
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requires occasional nights and weekends and periodic travel between program locations, including Buffalo, Rochester and surrounding areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 6 years’ experience developing and implementing a digital marketing strategy
  • A Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent degree
  • Extensive hands-on expertise across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Strong experience with paid social media, including campaign management and optimization
  • Demonstrated experience with social media management platforms, preferably Hootsuite
  • Strong understanding of social analytics tools (including Google, Meta and other platform analytics) to monitor user behavior, assess campaign efficacy and drive strategy
  • Proficiency working within the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience working with Hootsuite and FeathR, or similar digital marketing platforms preferred
  • Proficiency creating and editing video for social media
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Proven ability to communicate with tact, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills

  • No supervisory responsibilities
