Instagram & TikTok Content Creator / Social Media Manager (Contract – Monthly Retainer)

Just Sweet is a fun, fast-growing candy company on a mission to bring more sweetness, flavors, and joy to people’s feeds and their day.

We’re ready to level up our Instagram and TikTok and turn our candies into scroll-stopping content. We’re looking for a creative, reliable social media professional who knows how to use short-form video to grow a brand.

Role Overview

This is a contractor role paid on a monthly retainer of 1,200–1,500 USD.

You will plan, create, edit, and post regular short-form videos (Reels and TikToks), manage our Instagram and TikTok accounts, and help grow Just Sweet’s audience, engagement, brand awareness, and collaboration opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

· Create and post 5–7 short-form videos per week (Reels + TikTok) that showcase Just Sweet candies and brand personality.

· Take content from idea to post: concept, simple scripting, filming, editing, captions, hashtags, and publishing.

· Maintain a consistent posting schedule and manage our Instagram and TikTok day-to-day.

· Engage with our community by replying to comments and relevant DMs about content.

· Plan a simple content calendar with weekly themes aligned with the Just Sweet brand.

· Stay on top of Instagram and TikTok trends and adapt them in an on-brand way for a candy company.

· Review performance weekly, including views, watch time, engagement, and follower growth, and suggest what to test next.

· Help identify and suggest collaboration opportunities with creators or partners that fit Just Sweet.

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience managing Instagram and TikTok for brands, businesses, or creators.

· A track record of improving performance through follower growth, views, engagement, brand awareness, or successful campaigns.

· A portfolio with short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) you planned, filmed, and edited yourself.

· Clear understanding of what makes short-form content work: strong hooks in the first seconds, retention, storytelling, and effective calls-to-action.

· Comfortable filming and editing using tools like CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, or similar.

· Organized, reliable, and able to stick to a content schedule.

· Independent worker who is open to feedback and collaboration.

Nice to Have

· Experience with food, snack, candy, or lifestyle brands.

· Experience with creator, UGC, or influencer collaborations.

· Comfort with metrics such as reach, watch time, saves, and shares to guide content decisions.

Compensation & Details

· Contractor position with a fixed monthly retainer.

· Monthly retainer range: 1,200–1,500 USD, depending on experience and portfolio, for:

o 25–30 short-form videos per month

o Content and posting on Instagram + TikTok

o Basic engagement and simple weekly performance updates

· Potential to grow the partnership over time based on results and fit.
