Job Description


The Role

As Director of Food & Beverage, you will be the composer of Faena Wadi Safar’s culinary rhythm—where flavor, ritual, and atmosphere come together to create moments of connection and celebration.

You will lead all dining and beverage experiences, from signature restaurants and intimate lounges to gatherings, residencies, and late-night expressions. Working in close partnership with culinary leadership, you will shape spaces where hospitality feels expressive, sensorial, and deeply rooted in place.

What You Will Create

A Living Culinary World

  • Curate a portfolio of dining experiences that feel distinct yet connected—where food, design, sound, and service form a cohesive narrative from morning light to evening reverie.

Pre-Opening as Craft

  • Guide the pre-opening of the F&B world—bringing concepts, teams, systems, and rituals into alignment so each venue opens with confidence, clarity, and character.

Service as Theatre

  • Transform service into choreography—precise yet relaxed, attentive yet unobtrusive—ensuring every meal feels like an invitation rather than a transaction.

A House of Creators

  • Recruit, inspire, and develop exceptional F&B leaders and teams—cultivating pride in craft, curiosity, and a deep respect for Saudi culture and hospitality traditions.

Performance with Intention

  • Balance artistry with accountability—driving revenue, profitability, and cost discipline while preserving the soul and integrity of each concept.

Community & Collaboration

  • Foster partnerships with chefs, artisans, performers, and Diriyah collaborators—anchoring Faena’s culinary expression in local creativity and global perspective.

Qualifications


Who You Are

  • A senior Food & Beverage leader from the luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality tier.

  • Experienced in pre-opening and multi-venue operations, with a strong sense of concept and storytelling.

  • A creative operator—equally fluent in guest experience, financial performance, and team leadership.

  • Culturally curious and respectful, with experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC preferred.

  • A compelling communicator who leads with presence, taste, and intention.

  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
