ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and customer-focused Director, Global Dining Product Marketing. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Dining Venue & Product Marketing, this leader will define how we position, market, and merchandise our digital products to restaurant and hospitality partners — ensuring strong feature adoption, product utilization, and business impact.

The Director will partner closely with Global Dining Product and Business Development, Growth & Retention Marketing, and Sales teams to shape go-to-market strategies and ensure every feature and capability is effectively launched and communicated to venues. This leader will also oversee the development of product narratives, enablement materials, and marketing assets that help venues understand and realize the full value of the Resy and Tock platforms, backed by American Express.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Define the product marketing strategy and positioning across Resy and Tock, ensuring a clear and differentiated story for each platform and its capabilities.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and value propositions that communicate how our digital tools help restaurants and hospitality venues grow and operate more efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ensure customer insights and market needs inform product development and go-to-market priorities.
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent, compelling storytelling across all B2B touchpoints.

Go-to-Market & Feature Launches

  • Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for new products and features — from positioning and launch planning to post-launch measurement.
  • Develop launch frameworks, playbooks, and campaign plans that support adoption goals across different venue segments and markets.
  • Partner with Product and Lifecycle Marketing to ensure feature launches are integrated into venue communications and educational programs.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing assets, content, and in-product merchandising that highlight new feature value and drive venue engagement.

Adoption, Enablement & Insights

  • Drive product adoption and engagement among venue partners through strategic campaigns, education, and enablement.
  • Oversee development of sales and partner enablement materials, including product one-pagers, decks, FAQs, and launch toolkits.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent product storytelling and effective training on new features.
  • Partner with the Operations, Insights & Planning teams to monitor adoption metrics, campaign performance, and customer feedback to continuously refine product positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team, developing strong go-to-market expertise and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Serve as the key connector between Product, Marketing, and Sales to ensure alignment on feature readiness, launch timing, and success metrics.
  • Represent the voice of the venue across the organization, ensuring product and marketing decisions reflect partner needs.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or B2B marketing, ideally within a SaaS, technology, or marketplace environment.
  • Proven success leading product marketing functions, including positioning, messaging, launch strategy, and adoption marketing.
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market frameworks and experience driving measurable product engagement and feature adoption.
  • Strong partnership skills with Product, Sales, and Design teams; adept at translating product complexity into clear, compelling marketing stories.
  • Experience developing and managing enablement programs and marketing assets for customer-facing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the restaurant and hospitality industry, with an understanding of operator needs and motivations preferred.
  • Highly organized, strategic, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to inspire, develop, and drive impact through a high-performing team.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Are passionate about restaurant and hospitality venues and / or adjacent business verticals.
  • Are passionate about connecting great products to customer value through thoughtful, effective marketing.
  • Love leading teams that bridge the gap between product development and customer understanding.
  • Enjoy building and scaling new marketing capabilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excel at crafting messaging that inspires adoption and drives results.
  • Are motivated by helping restaurants and hospitality venues thrive through innovation and technology within the American Express Global Dining Network.
