Green Hills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Director of Accounting to join our team! This role will plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the financial integrity, operational efficiency, and technological reliability of the community. This position is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls, while also serving as the primary on‑site leader for information systems, data security, and technology coordination.

  • Provide financial leadership and oversee all accounting operations in accordance with GAAP, internal policies, and management company requirements.
  • Ensure the timely, accurate preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Oversee resident billing processes across all services including monitoring accounts receivable, aging reports, and collections.
  • Partner with leadership in the development of the annual operating and capital budgets, while monitoring, analyzing, and making recommendations.
  • Support long‑range financial planning, cash flow forecasting, and reserve funding strategies.
  • Coordinate all activities including audits, cost reports, tax filings, and required regulatory submissions.
  • Act as the on‑site leader and primary point of coordination for financial systems, business applications, and information technology resources, while partnering with the management company, IT Supervisor, and vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations.
  • Ensure technology supports operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and resident service excellence.

We are excited about you because you:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and bring 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on experience with G/L, A/P, A/R, and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of core accounting functions and a solid working knowlege of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using general business technologies to support day-to-day operations.
  • Have experience with information systems and technology, including financial and operational systems.
  • Bring prior management experience, ideally in healthcare, senior living, or multi-entity organizations.
