Title: Director of Content

Office/Department: Institute for Faith and Freedom

Description: The Institute for Faith and Freedom at Grove City College is seeking a talented, mission-driven Director of Content to lead the creation, management, and strategic distribution of content across multiple platforms. This role is central to the operations of Grove City College Press, overseeing the full publishing lifecycle for 2-3 books annually—from manuscript acquisition and editorial collaboration to marketing, distribution, and sales. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator and strategic thinker who can craft compelling content that elevates the Institute’s voice and expands its reach.

In addition to publishing responsibilities, the Director of Content will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that spans social media, website, email, newsletters, print, video, and podcast formats. This includes creating engaging, on-brand content, managing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize results. This role requires close collaboration with authors, editors, publishers, marketers, and internal departments, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms. Strong editorial judgment, reading comprehension, and familiarity with style guidelines are essential.

Requirements: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least five years of experience in marketing, higher education, office environments, or conservative advocacy. A background in content design or product marketing is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud. Familiarity with WordPress CMS (no coding required), Google Analytics, and Meta social platforms are also desirable.

A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.

Candidates with the appropriate skills should send their letter of interest, resume, names, and contact information of three professional references, and salary requirements to: employement@gcc.edu.
