Director of Finance & Accounting-Offshore

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance & Accounting to lead our offshore Finance & Accounting service delivery center. You will be accountable for the operational excellence, client satisfaction, and team performance of all accounting processes managed for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Service Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, Reporting, Payroll) for international clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards (GAAP, IFRS).

· Client Management: Act as the offshore liaison for key accounts, manage escalations, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and client satisfaction targets are met or exceeded.

· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of accounting professionals, team leads, and managers. Foster a high-performance culture and manage resource planning.

· Process Excellence: Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of service delivery.

· Governance & Compliance: Ensure robust internal controls, data security protocols, and compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

· CA, ACCA, or equivalent international professional accounting qualification.

· 12+ years of progressive F&A experience, with at least 8 years of experience in Shared Services or BPO industry at a leadership role.

· Proven track record of managing large offshore teams (50+ FTEs), serving clients in regions like the US, UK, or Middle East.

· Deep, hands-on expertise in end-to-end accounting processes and financial reporting.

· Strong experience with major ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with proven ability in stakeholder management and executive presentations.
