Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. a high performing lemon law firm, is seeking an experienced HR Director to oversee all aspects of human resources and internal operations. This role manages the full employee lifecycle, supports firm leadership, and ensures compliance across the organization.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of California employment law, and experience managing HR functions in person. Legal industry experience is helpful, and familiarity with lemon law or consumer law is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR strategy, policy development, and overall operations.
  • Serve as primary contact for employee relations matters and conduct investigations.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with California labor law, CFRA, FMLA, wage and hour, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop training programs, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
  • Oversee HR systems, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Support workers compensation, leaves of absence, and return to work processes.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs.
  • Manage and mentor HR staff as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Director or senior HR leader.
  • Strong working knowledge of California employment law.
  • Experience overseeing payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Leadership experience managing HR teams and in person operations.
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with lemon law or consumer law is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; HR certifications are a plus.

Preferred Tools and Systems

  • HubSpot, Filevine, or similar CRM/intake platforms
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads platform
  • Experience integrating marketing automations with intake workflows

Pay: $150-$170K per year
