Summary of Function:

The Director of Human Resources provides strategic leadership to a multi-site team, fostering communication, consistency, and accountability across all locations. Responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and practices across the company.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Serve as a key advisor to senior management on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations for organizational development.

· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.

· Support business needs through organizational design, staffing, and workforce planning, as well as development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.

· Provide guidance and leadership to the human resource management team; assist with resolution of employee, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.

· Conduct investigations and manage conflict resolution processes as needed. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

· Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

· Provide recruiting assistance and candidate screening and assessment, as well as successful on-boarding.

· Manage the organization’s compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.

Organizational Relationships:

Direct reports include site HR business partners, compensation and benefits administrator.

Experience and/or Educational Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field

· 5+ years of HR leadership in a manufacturing or technical environment

· Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

· Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent is preferred.

· Some travel to facilities is required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work and perform what would be considered standard practices for this type of position in the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
