The Director of IT Project Management & Business Partnership leads the organization’s IT project portfolio, ensuring all technology initiatives align with business objectives and deliver measurable value. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and fostering strong collaboration between IT and business units to drive digital transformation, operational efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute IT project management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Serve as the main liaison between IT and business leaders to identify and deliver technology-driven opportunities.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage the IT demand process and project portfolio, prioritizing based on business impact.
  • Lead project governance, steering committees, and performance reporting.
  • Develop RFPs/RFIs and evaluate vendors.
  • Establish and enforce PMO frameworks (PMP, Agile, etc.).
  • Drive process automation, system optimization, and data-driven decisions.
  • Lead change management and ensure successful adoption of new systems.
  • Maintain project documentation and promote a collaborative, business-focused IT culture.

A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is an advantage.
